Chill block. Backing bar. Weld control device. Whatever you want to call it, these are the ticket. We use these on the back of a outside corner joint and sometimes on a butt weld. These will work great as chill blocks for your TIG welding. Brand new 6061-T6 aluminum and Steel is Cold Formed 1018 that is offered in the following sizes.
